Remembering the days of the week is hard work for most two and three year olds. It takes practice and repetition of hearing the seven days in the correct order before they completely remember. Not to worry, most kids are 4 and 5 before they can recognize the days of the week out of sequence.
Each child learns at their own pace. While one child is ahead of the game on recognizing and learning the alphabet, another child is ahead in counting past twenty. Children learn at their own pace. No need to push them. However there is a need to expose them, as often as possible to educational games, learning tools and colorful books. Days of the Week Months of the Year With R-21 is one such book. See the video book review below.
